Dear Friends,

To mark the 34th birthday of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, on the 26th June, we will do an animal release on Saturday 22nd June.

The practice of Tsetar, or life release, is a powerful practice, highly auspicous as the act of saving a life is the most powerful act one can perform, and helps to purify karma, so we hope that as many of you will join us as possible and release as many lives as we can afford. If you can’t make it on the day, donations are always welcome – contact the Office on 01 4537427 or email info@buddhism.ie to find out how.

We meet out in Howth on the Pier to buy as many crabs and lobsters as we can for release, then go to the Bull Wall for the release. Meeting Point and Time – Wrights, Howth Pier West at 2pm. Call us on 01 4537427 to check on the day where we are – a lot depends on the availability of crabs etc to buy – we would hope to be at the Bull Wall around 3pm.
