Saturday Morning Dialogues

with Dónal Creedon

‘I am looking for the face I had,
Before the world was made.’
W. B. Yeats

A light touch inquiry into Buddhist views on life, death and beyond. Our aim is not so much  philosophical rather to look into our lives in the light of the teachings.

To quote T.S. Eliot;

“In a wilderness of mirrors. What will the Spider do,

Suspend its operations, …?”

Each session will start with a short introduction and opens out to discussion and dialogue on contemporary as well as existential issues.

We will have a tea break of course.

On Saturdays

25th  January, 1st , 15th  February and 1st  March

From 10am to 12.30pm

Everybody welcome

Saturday’s 8th of Feb has been cancelled.

Please note there will not be any dialogue on 22nd February

Dónal Creedon has been a friend and supporter of Kagyu Samye Dzong for many many years, and has regularly been coming to our centre to teach and share his knowledge and experience with us.

Dónal was born and educated in Dublin. He has studied and practiced for a long time with Buddhist masters of the Kagyu practice lineage in Kagyu Samye Ling as well as in India and Nepal. This also involved many years of intense retreat. Though based in Ireland he teaches and leads retreats in a number of other countries including UK, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Finland.
