The Dzong Cine Club is back and will be regular feature of events in the Centre, happening every last Friday of the month (unless we need to change it due to visiting teachers!)
The first offering of the year is Bokar Rinpoche, Meditation Master. Renowned as one of Tibetan Buddhism’s great spiritual Masters, Bokar Rinpoche has devoted his life to the practice of meditation while living in exitle in the isolation of a small mountain monastery. As the spiritual son of Kalu Rinpoche, Bokar Rinpoche was close to the Dalai Lama and became the meditation master of the 17th Karmapa. The film invites us to discover the the everyday life of a grand spiritual Master. Through his teachings, Bokar Rinpoche proposes a real introduction to Tibetan Buddhism.
Doors open 7.30pm, screening starts at 8pm.
