Lhabab Duchen is one of the four ‘Wheel’ days of the Buddhist calendar, and this year takes place on Tuesday 15th November.

It celebrates the return to Earth of the Buddha Shakyamuni from the God Realm of the Thirty Three after teaching Dharma to the gods, including his mother, for several months (Mayadevi had died a week after the Buddha’s birth and had been reborn in the god realm).

As a merit multiplying day, all actions are multiplied 100 million times, therefore it is particularly auspicious to make offerings, and perform good deeds.

Please join us for a Tsok Puja at 6.30pm (preparations from 5.30pm), offerings of food, drink (no meat or alcohol!), flowers, light and incense are very welcome.

If you cannot join us, you can also mark the day by performing good deeds, donating to charity, reciting mantras etc
