Please see the following email from Samye Ling – we will be reciting the prayers in KSD Dublin from approx 2pm and invite you to join us there, or you can do them wherever you wish.
‘In Samye Ling temple we will be dedicating special Green Tara Prayers to the long life of Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche on Saturday 13th May and you are welcome to join us on Zoom.
The prayers will begin after the teachings by His Holiness Karmapa. There will be a short break after the teachings and then we will begin the prayers.
It is not certain exactly when the teachings will finish so we will send you another email then, confirming the time of the prayers and including a Zoom invitation.
Many of you will already know that in addition to Thrangu Rinpoche’s countless activities to benefit the Buddha’s teachings around the world, Rinpoche has also visited Samye Ling many times, giving a host of teachings and initiations.
We will recite the Tara prayers (as we do in Samye Ling and many Samye Dzongs), and also the long life prayers attached to this email.
Anyone who wishes to participate in these online prayers will be most welcome.
