Green Tara Practice Weekend

Saturday 26th 11:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday 27th 11:00am – 4:00pm

Kunzang will continue instructions in the practice of Green Tara with particular emphasis on the recitation of the ’21 Praises to Tara’. Further instruction will also be given in the music and mudras (hand gestures) particular to this practice. Bring your texts, pencil and  red pen for marking text.

(Suggested donation €35 per day, including simple vegetarian lunch)

Monday 28th 7:30pm – 9:00pm

Detailed explanation of the Dorge Chang prayer (NB it is necessary to have taken Refuge to attend this session)

Tuesday 29th 7:30pm – 9:00pm

Instruction in Shamattha meditation. This is open to all, beginners and experienced meditators alike

Wednesday 30th 7:30 – 9:00pm

Continued explanation of the Dorge Chang prayer.

Gelongma Kunzang is a life-ordained nun based in Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland. She has many years experience in the practice and teaching of Meditation and the Sadhanas practiced in our Lineage, with particular expertise in the music and mudras.
