Tara is known as the ‘Mother of all Buddhas’, “she who ferries beings across the ocean of samara”, the essence of compassion in action. Both peaceful and wrathful, she is the actuality of wisdom and compassion. She is fully enlightened and inseparable from genuine reality, or true nature, the dharmakaya. She comes to the aid of beings when we call on her with genuine devotion.
*** On Saturday 7th January from 9am – 12pm (with a break!) Lama Rinchen from KSD Belgium will give instructions in the practice of Green Tara to our Shrine Room via Zoom. This session is open to anyone who has taken Refuge and has received the empowerment and/or Lung in Green Tara, or has the genuine intention to receive the empowerment.
There is no charge for this event but donations towards the costs of running the Centre are gratefully received.
*This session will be broadcast to our Shrine Room and people are encouraged to attend in person, however if you are unable to attend in person and would like to participate please contact us by email info@buddhism.ie
Lama Rinchen Palmo was given the title of Lama by Akong Rinpoche in 2010, following some twenty years of retreat. She is the resident lama and the spiritual director of the Centres in Belgium. She has assisted meditators for many years and is in the position to assist Dharma practitioners on their inner journey.
