The aim of this session is primarily to discover and become familiar with the correct way to sit. Good posture is key to a solid foundation, which in turn helps pacify the mind, by putting all the channels in the right position.

From there we examine what to do with our mind during meditation. This will be followed by a short practice, and then we will focus on any questions regarding experiences during the practice.

This all leads us to the big question – Why does it work? We will try to answer it with you.

Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm – 8.45pm and Saturday mornings 10.30am – 11.45am starting Wednesday 29th September.

This session is open to anyone to attend, no need to be Buddhist. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that won’t restrict the movement of your legs – skinny jeans or yoga pants are not really recommended!

There are various ways to sit depending on your mobilty and the correct posture for each will be taught – whether on a cushion or chair.

Places are still limited due to the current guidelines so we ask that you please book your place in advance by calling 01 4537427 or by Text/WhatsApp 085 8338221. Thank You!

By Donation – suggested amount €8-12 (your donations help support the Centre and all it offers now and into the future. If finances are an issue please feel free to give whatever you can afford)
