Kagyu Samye Dzong Dublin
We are delighted to have Thubten back in Dublin. Over the weekend he will share his experience of meditation and practice, and how it can benefit our daily life. On Saturday 21st October he will explain how meditation and mindfulness can help transform our attitudes to stress and provide powerful tools for dealing with lifes pressures.
We will explore the causes of stress and how to get to its roots to deactivate and transform our negative reactions. We will also look at how to establish a daily sitting practice as well as techniques which can be applied throughout the day, integrating our practice into our daily life.
There will be advice on building a positive attitude and for dealing with conflict at home and at work.
There will also be information from the world of neuroscience, backing up the benefits of meditation practice.
Gelong Thubten has considerable experience teaching these methods to businesses, health services, schools, universities, as well as other organisations.
Suitable for people of all levels, Buddhists and non-Buddhist alike.
Suggested donation €35 (includes simple lunch) – donations go towards the cost of bringing teachers such as Thubten to Dublin
