What is meditation? How does it work? What does it do? Practised for thousands of years, modern science is only now beginning to understand the effect meditation has on the brain.

Gelong Thubten 3During this weekend, Gelong Thubten will combine theory and guided practice, delving into the neuroscience of meditation, looking at the effect the practice has on the brain, and how it creates a healthier body chemistry. He will teach techniques on how to introduce mindfulness into our daily lives, increase compassion and develop our sense of connection to others.

Sunday 7th May 11am – 4pm

Suggested donation €35 per day (includes simple vegetarian lunch)
