We are delighted to welcome the ever popular Charlie Morley back to Dublin for two workshops.

Sunday 15th November 10am – 5pm

This workshop will teach you how to become conscious within your dreams and make use of the third of your life that you spend sleeping to be “more awake, more aware and more kind!”

By using the best of both Tibetan Buddhist and Western dream-work techniques Charlie’s workshops offer a uniquely holistic approach to lucid dreaming with the core aims of psychological growth and nocturnal spiritual practice.

The workshop includes an overview of the history, science and practice of lucid dreaming from both the Western psychological and Tibetan Buddhist traditions, exploration of how sleep works and of course plenty of techniques for becoming lucid within your dreams.

Lucid dreaming is an important precursory skill to the Tibetan tradition of Dream Yoga and these teachings offer a practical way to learn this incredibly beneficial skill.

What will we learn at the workshop?

  • How to lucid dream from scratch and/or develop your practice.
  • The benefits of lucid dreaming.
  • How to use lucid dreaming to integrate nightmares.
  • How to heal our inner world while we sleep.
  • Using sleep for spiritual practice.

The aim of this workshop is not just to learn how to lucid dream but also how to tap into the wellspring of wisdom that resides in the dreaming mind.

Lucid dreaming can help us to wake up to life and to live lucidly with joy and confidence, so come and learn how! All ages and abilities are welcome.

Cost of one day workshop €60 (includes simple vegetarian lunch) – if you wish to attend both workshops €100 for both days (including lunch)

Spaces are limited – please book your place in advance email info@buddhism.ie or call 01 4537427. Payment in full by 1st November

Charlie Morley is a bestselling author and teacher of lucid dreaming & shadow integration.

He has been lucid dreaming for over 20 years and was “authorised to teach” within the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism by Lama Yeshe Rinpoche in 2008. He has since co-created a holistic approach to dream work called Mindfulness of Dream & Sleep alongside mindfulness pioneer Rob Nairn and written three books which have been translated into 15 languages.

For over 10 years Charlie has run workshops & retreats in more than 20 countries and continues to teach internationally. He’s spoken at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities, the Ministry of Defence Mindfulness Symposium, The Houses of Parliament, TEDx San Diego and Mindvalley University.

In 2018 he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship grant to research “Mindfulness Based PTSD Treatment in Veterans” and continues to teach sleep & dream practices to armed forces veterans  and civilians with Stress or Trauma Affected Sleep Patterns.

In 2019 Charlie created the first Lucid Dreaming Training for Therapists which trained a group of hypnotherapists, art therapists, mediation teachers and counsellors to use lucid dreaming with their clients.

He formally became a Buddhist at the age of 19, lived at the Kagyu Samye Dzong Buddhist Centre for 7 years and completed a 3 month solo meditation retreat at Tara Rokpa Centre in 2016. In his past life he trained and worked as an actor & scriptwriter before running a breakdance collective and working as a hip hop MC throughout his 20’s.

He now lives in London with his wife, astral projection teacher Jade Shaw. When he’s not teaching he enjoys martial arts (he has a black-belt in Kickboxing), going dancing and pretending to meditate.
