Monday 27th February 7.30pm – 9pm – ‘Chenrezi Instructions for the more experienced’
Going deeper into the Chenrezi practice, for those who have been practicing it already and wish to deepen their knowledge of the practice and progress to further visualisations. ***Please note this session is restricted to those who have taken Refuge and received the Chenrezi empowerment.
Tuesday 28th February 7.30pm – 9pm – An Introduction to Buddhism and Meditation
An opportunity to learn about some of the main aspects of Buddhist philosophy and practice. There will be some meditation instruction as well as time for questions.
Wednesday 1st March 7.30pm – 9pm – ‘Chenrezi Instructions for beginners’
Open to all – a beginners guide to the Tibetan Buddhist practice of loving kindness and compassion, which uses visualisation and mantra recitation.
Suggested donation for the evening talks €10. Donations help cover the costs of bringing teachers such as Thubten to Dublin, and keeps the doors of the Centre open so that as many people as possible may benefit.
Gelong Thubten has been a monk since 1993. During this time he has completed over 200 pairs of Nyung Neys, and more recently has completed a 4 year and 1 year Retreat on Arran. He has had many years experience of the practice and teaching of the Dharma and teaches in many different organisations, such as companies and the NHS, and one does not need to be a Buddhist in order to benefit from his experience and wisdom.
